PERANCANGAN IKAT CELUP TRITIK DENGAN SUMBER IDE VISUAL BATU BANDED AGATE

ABSTRAK
Kurangnya inovasi dan pengembangan desain ikat celup mengakibatkan menurunnya minat dan daya jual terhadap produk fesyen ikat celup di pasaran.Desain dengan bentuk biasa tanpa inovasi dan pengembangan menciptakan kesan monoton bagi konsumen.Hal tersebut menjadi tantangan bagi para desainer untuk menciptakan produk fesyen yang berbeda dan memiliki karakter tersendiri untuk memenuhi kebutuhan konsumen.Penulis mencoba merancang sebuah koleksi fesyen pakaian dengan tema Magistic Mother Earth pada Tugas Akhir ini.Magistic Mother Earth mempunyai arti Keajaiban Ibu Bumi, dimana merupakan simbol ajaib sebagai penyokong kehidupan di bumi.Batu Banded Agate sebagai bagian dari alam yang ikut berperan dalam menjaga kestabilan bumi dari dalam tanah, dimana mengandung keajaiban dalam hal non-fisik maupun fisiknya.Perancangan ini dilakukan dengan metode penelitian kualitatif, yaitu studi literatur terhadap berbagai sumber dan melakukan uji coba visual, teknik dan bahan.Penelitian yang dilakukan menghasilkan empat desain unik dan menarik dengan sumber ide visual batu Banded Agate, dimana dapat dicapai dengan teknik Tritik ikat celup yang diaplikasikan dalam produk pakaian perempuan.Diharapkan dengan dilakukannya Perancangan Ikat Celup Tritik dengan Sumber Ide Visual Batu Banded Agate dengan tema MagisticMother Earth ini, dapat menambah variasi pada produk fesyen yang mempunyai karakter khas dan berbeda.

ABSTRACT
The lack of innovation and the development of tie dye design resulted in decreasing interest and selling power of tie dye fashion products in the market. Design with the usual shape without innovation and development creates a monotonous impression for consumers. It becomes a challenge for designers to create different fashion products and has its own character to meet the needs of consumers. The author tries to design a fashion clothing collection with the theme of Magistic Mother Earth in this Final Project. Magistic Mother Earth means the Miracle of Mother Earth, which is a magistic symbol as a supporter of life on earth. Batu Banded Agate as a part of nature that plays a role in maintaining the stability of the earth from the soil, which contains miracles in terms of non-physical and physical. This design is done by qualitative research methods, namely literature studies on various sources and perform visual tests, techniques and materials. The research undertaken resulted in four unique and interesting designs with the source of the Banded Agate stone visual idea, which can be achieved with the tie dye Tritik technique applied in women’s clothing products. It is hoped that by doing the Design of Tie Dye Tritik with Visual Idea Source Batu Banded Agate with Magistic Mother Earth theme, it can add variation on fashion products that have distinctive character and different.
