Visual Branding Kopi Wangsul melalui Foto Cerita

Abstract

Visual Branding of Kopi Wangsul through Photos Story is the creation of a photographic work that depicts a series of production processes for Nglurah Robusta coffee, Tawangmangu, Karanganyar, Central Java. Tawangmangu has become one of the areas in Central Java that produces quality coffee beans, since the reign of Manggunegara IV. However, currently coffee from the Tawangmangu area is less well-known by the public. The purpose of creating this work is as an effort to brand Tawangmangu Coffee so that it is better known to the public, and to increase public interest in coffee, especially Wangsul Coffee in Nglurah Village, Tawangmangu, through story photos. The creation of this work uses a story photo technique with a descriptive flow. The creation approach uses the EDFAT method. The results of the creation of this work are: 1) Visual Branding in the form of story photos consisting of 23 photo works telling the production process of Wangsul Coffee starting from picking, processing, and packaging, which are printed on albatros paper and presented in an exhibition of works. 2) Coffee Table Book made of 150 gram art paper, full color with a hard cover measuring 23cm x 32 cm, as a promotional media through exhibitions.
