Abstract

Photography as a Visual Communication Media. Photography is one of the visual communication
media that has the power to convey messages effectively through images. As an integral part of visual
communication design, photography not only records reality, but is also capable of shaping the audience's
perception and emotions. This article discusses the role of photography in the context of visual
communication, including the visual elements used, as well as its application in various media such as
advertising, journalism, and social media. Through a qualitative approach and literature review, this
research aims to understand how photography can be used strategically to deliver effective visual messages.
