Abstract

: In photography, framing is part of a photo composition that surrounds an object to beautify a photo. Paper as a frame forms/designs clothing outfits, shoes, hats, bags, scarves and bandanas and so on. The above is reinforced by ornamental plants as objects. Ornamental plants are chosen as objects when paying attention to their beauty which is enjoyed visually. Also enjoys caring for ornamental plants. This work visualizes the beauty of ornamental plants by considering the composition of the photo between the frame and the ornamental plant object which becomes a visual for still life photography, taking into account the composition, available light, paper color, color and shape of the ornamental plant. In creating this work, a still life photography technique using available light was used. One of the main considerations used in creating work is photographic composition such as color, texture and pattern. These ornamental plant objects were found in city parks in Salatiga and its surroundings. In this work, spontaneous photography was carried out using available light as the main light, namely the sun.
