PELATIHAN CITIZEN JOURNALISM BAGI SISWA SMK JURUSAN PARIWISATA SEBAGAI PENUNJANG SEKTOR PARIWISATA DI SURAKARTA

Artikel ini merupakan hasil dari kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat yakni Pelatihan CitizenJournalism Bagi Siswa Smk Jurusan Pariwisata Sebagai Penunjang Sektor Pariwisata Di Surakarta.Kegiatan pengabdian pada masyarakat ini dilatarbelakangi atas keperdulian terhadap generasi mudakhususnya pelajar yang saat ini bisa dikatakan mulai kecanduan dengan internet.. Perkembangan teknologiinternet berjalan beriringan dengan perkembangan teknologi. Mayoritas pelajar saat ini menggunakangadget, smartphone, atau teknologi sejenis lainnya yang memungkinkan mereka untuk terkoneksi denganinternet kapan saja. Penggunaan internet yang tidak pada tempatnya memberikan banyak dampak negatifdan berbagai penelitian telah membuktikan hal tersebut. Sebagai generasi penerus bangsa penting dilakukanberbagai upaya untuk menjauhkan para remaja terhadap hal-hal negatif tersebut dan mengarahkan kedekatandengan teknologi tersebut untuk sesuatu yang lebih bermanfaat bagi masyarakat. Kegiatan Pengabdiankepada masyarakat ini difokuskan pada pelajar SMK jurusan pariwisata di Kota Surakarta dengan tujuanagar para pelajar paham bahwa melalui internet mereka bisa memberikan kontribusi bagi masyarakat dankota Surakarta. Kontribusi tersebut berupa informasi mengenai hal-hal yang berkaitan dengan pariwisatadi Kota Surakarta yang diunggah melalui blog yang bisa diakses oleh siapapun yang ingin mengetahuiinformasi mengenai pariwisata di Kota Surakarta.Berdasarkan uraian situasi di atas, maka ada beberapapermasalahan yang perlu ditangani, yaitu 1) Bagaimana memahamkan siswa SMK Jurusan Pariwisata diSurakarta tentang manfaat media internet agar terhindar dari dampak negatif media internet? 2) Bagaimanamemahamkan pentingnya peran serta siswa SMK Jurusan Pariwisata di Surakarta dalam mempromosikanpariwisata Kota Surakarta melalui karya citizen journalism yang diunggah melalui media internet?3)Bagaimana menghasilkan karya citizen journalism tentang potensi pariwisata Kota Surakarta yangdiunggah melalui sarana blog? Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dilakukan dengan metodeteori dan praktek. Para peserta diberikan materi tentang dampak internet, citizen journalism, blog sertabagaimana membuat karya citizen journalism dan juga bagaimana membuat blog. Setelah pesertamendapatkan semua materi tersebut, para peserta kemudian melakukan praktek membuat karyacitizenjournalism dan praktek membuat blog serta praktek menggunggah karya ke dalam blog masing-masingpeserta.Kata kunci: pelatihan, citizen journalism, blog.Downloads

Other data publishing licenses may be allowed as exceptions (subject to approval by the editor on a case-by-case basis). They should be justified with a written statement from the author, which will be published with the article.
Open Data and Software Publishing and Sharing
The journal strives to maximize the replicability of the research published in it. Authors are thus required to share all data, code, or protocols underlying the research reported in their articles. Exceptions are permitted but must be justified in a written public statement accompanying the article.
Datasets and software should be deposited and permanently archived in inappropriate, trusted, general, or domain-specific repositories (please consult http://service.re3data.org and/or software repositories such as GitHub, GitLab, Bioinformatics.org, or equivalent). The associated persistent identifiers (e.g., DOI or others) of the dataset(s) must be included in the article's data or software resources section. Reference(s) to datasets and software should also be included in the article's reference list with DOIs (where available). Where no domain-specific data repository exists, authors should deposit their datasets in a general repository such as ZENODO, Dryad, Dataverse, or others.
