Abstract

Kabupaten Boyolali dengan 13 kecamatan yang tersebar di wilayah tersebut memiliki beragam keseniantradisional yang menarik untuk dinikmati karena masih murni sebagai hasil kesenian rakyat. Berdasarkajian tentang kondisi ekonomi dan sosial-budaya masyarakatnya, kegiatan PPM berjudul PelatihanPembuatan Kostum Karnival yang Mengambil Tema Ikon Kelompok Tari Desa Samiran dan Gebyoksebagai Upaya Pemberdayaan Masyarakatdifokuskan untuk masyarakat calon pengusaha, dengan duakelompok mitra calon pengusaha yaitu kelompok UKM Muda Taruna dan UKM Mandiri Jaya Art.Keduanya berasal dari kecamatan yang sama yaitu kecamatan Selo, Boyolali tetapi berbeda dusun. UKMMuda Taruna berasal dari dusun Samiran sedangkan UKM Mandiri Jaya Artberasal dari dusunGebyog.Fokus PPM lebih diarahkan pada aspek merancang kostum karnival ikon kelompok tari rakyatyang meliputi pengenalan karakter ikon kelompok tari rakyatdi Selo, pengenalan bahan produksi danalternatifnya, perancangan desain, teknik pembuatan, dan manajemen keuangan. Metode pendekatanyang digunakan adalah pelatihan dan pendampinganteknik merancang kostum karnivalsampai teknikpembuatan kostum.Pelatihan produksi kostum dengan tahapan: merancang kostum, merancang hiasankepala, merancang aksesori kalung dada, tangan (klat bahu) dan kaki.Hasil kegiatan berupa desain kostumkarnival tari rakyat, kostum carnival, dan hasil pelatihan perhitungan biaya produksi.Kata kunci: Kostum Karnival, ikon, rancangan.

Open Data and Software Publishing and Sharing
