PEMBUATAN SOUVENIR DENGAN TEKNIK RESIN SEBAGAI UPAYA PEMBERDAYAAN PEMUDA SELO BOYOLALI DALAM MEMBIDIK PARIWISATA

Abstract

Teknik resin untuk souvenir dipilih untuk kegiatan dalam PKM karena teknik ini belum dikenal di wilayah Selo dan juga mudah untuk dilakukan di tengah kesibukan para pemudanya, sehingga diharapkan akan menjadi berkembang dan menjadi sumber pendapatan masyarakat setempat. Untuk itu, Tim PKM membidik dua kelompok kesenian untuk diberi pelatihan dan pendampingan yang bermanfaat bagi peningkatan sumber perekonomian mereka dan juga menjadi aspek yang menghidupkan objek wisata setempat. PengabdianKepada Masyarakat di Kecamatan Selo ini dengan tujuan: memberi wawasan tentang souvenir yang menggunakan teknik resin; mengenalkan dan memberi pelatihan tentang perancangan alternatif souvenir, dan melaksanakan pendampingan tentang pembuatan model, cetakan silikon dan pengecoran teknik resin. Adapun metode yang digunakan yaitu berupa pelatihan dan pendampingan. Sedangkan kegiatan yang dilakukan adalah: penyiapan modul, koordinasi dengan peserta pelatihan, persiapan bahan dan alat, perancangan souvenir, pembuatan model, serta pelaksanaan pelatihan dan pendampingan pembuatan souvenir dengan teknik resin. Target khusus yang akan dicapai, yaitu: desain dan prototype/model souvenir khas Selo, modul pelatihan teknik reproduksi resin, dan produk souvenir hasil pelatihan. Pelaksanaan pelatihan dan pendampingan PKM berlangsung tiga kali pertemuan dengan kelompok pemuda Gebyok, dan tiga kali dengan kelompok pemuda Samiran . Mereka mengikuti dengan tetib dan antusias dalam pelatihan sejak awal hingga akhir pelatihan. Adapun hasil yang dapat dicapai adalah: peserta pelatihan memiliki wawasan tentang souvenir, mengetahui bahan-bahan untuk teknik resin serta alat-alatnya: mengetahui tentang proses dasar pembuatan souvenir dengan teknik resin, dapat membuat dan menghasilkan souvenir dengan teknik resin berupa tiga macam gantungan kunci, yaitu: gantungan kunci berbentuk relief‘Tarian Kuda Kepang’, relief ‘Topeng’ dan gantungan kunci ‘Resin Bening Berisi Foto Wayang’, Relief untuk hiasan dinding dengan bentuk “Tarian Jaran Kepang 1 dan 2â€, dapat melaksanakan pencetakan teknik resin untuk pembuatan tiga patung kecil berbentuk ‘Kucing’, ‘Gadis’, dan ‘Temanten’.Kata kunci: resin, souvenir, silikon, pelatihan.
