Pendampingan Jaranan Margowati Sebagai Ikon Temanggung dan Penetapan Warisan Budaya Tak Benda

Margowati adalah sebuah desa di Kabupaten Temanggung. Desa ini memiliki potensi sebagai desa wisata, di sini terdapat situs-situs seperti tempat pengembangbiakan kuda di dusun Kapalan yang ditandai dengan jejak kaki seekor kuda (situs). Temuan ini juga terkait dengan nama desa yang disebut Kapalan, yang merupakan nama lain untuk kuda. Sebagian besar komunitas dusun Kapalan membuat kerajinan tangan yang terkait dengan kuda, seperti kepang. Kesenian yang populer adalah Jaranan, yang biasa disebut dengan Kuda Lumping. Pengabdian masyarakat yang dilakukan di Desa Margowati merupakan tindak lanjut dari penelitian tentang identitas Kabupaten Temanggung yaitu tari Jaranan. Pengabdian masyarakat dalam bentuk pelatihan serta sosialisasi Margowati sebagai ikon dan penentuan warisan budaya. Pelatihan dilakukan di kelompok Krido Turonggo di desa Margowati. Pemilihan mitra dalam kaitannya dengan grup ini digunakan sebagai model dengan pertimbangan bahwa grup ini adalah kelompok yang telah banyak melahirkan penari handal. Masalah yang harus dipecahkan adalah ; 1) Bagaimana melakukan pendampingan terhadap model jaranan Temanggung yang digunakan sebagai ikon ?, 2) Bagaimana melakukan pedampingan terhadap pengusulan Penetapan Warisan Budaya Tak Benda pada jaranan Margowati ?, dan 3) Bagaimana melakukan pelatihan terhadap hasil model jaranan Temanggung sebagai ikon ? Sasaran luaran dari kegiatan ini adalah jurnal Nasional, Dokumentasi Video, Model Jaranan Temanggung, dan pengakuan Hak Kekayaan Intelektual dan Warisan Budaya Tak Benda. Fase implementasi dengan mitra yang disepakati adalah pembuatan model Temanggung Temanan yang telah didahului oleh penelitian, dan proposal untuk pengajuan objek warisan budaya.Kata kunci : pelatihan, Warisan Budaya Tak Benda, jaranan.Downloads
