Desa Mambang, Kecamatan Silemadeng Timur, Kabupaten Tabanan memiliki permasalahan pengelolaan persampahan dikarenakan sistem yang terbentuk tidak berjalan dengan baik. Selain itu diperparah dengan rendahnya kesadaran warga pada pengolahan sampah yang baik. Dengan kondisi tersebut maka muncul Gerakan Anak-anak Peduli Sampah Plastik (Gapsap) sebagai relawan memungut sampah yang telah berlangsung sejak 2014. Namun gerakan tersebut belum mampu mengolah dan memanfaatkan sampah plastik yang sudah dipunggut sehingga volumenya semakin menumpuk di tempat penampungan sementara. Begitu juga minimnya pengetahuan tentang wirausaha, terutama pengembangan produk handycraf dari sampah plastik. Untuk itu maka diperlukan suatu terobosan pemanfaatan timbunan sampah plastik yang sudah terkumpul menjadi ecobricks dan pengembangan produksi usaha berbahan daur ulang sampah plastik. Metode pengabdian masyarakat yang dilakukan melalui tahapan yaitu sosialisasi, koordinasi, pelatihan/pendampingan, dan penyuluhan. Hasil program ini adalah kemampuan pengolahan sampah plastik menjadi ecobricks dan pengembangan produk handycraf. Sedangkan dampak program ini yakni penurunan jumlah sampah plastik tidak terolah yang berimplikasi terhadap semakin besarnya kesadaran warga masyarakat dalam pengelolaan sampah, serta dapat menjadi pilot project dan best practice pengelolaan sampah.

Open Data and Software Publishing and Sharing
The journal strives to maximize the replicability of the research published in it. Authors are thus required to share all data, code, or protocols underlying the research reported in their articles.
