General Requirements
Ketentuan Umum
The minimum standard requirements of Jurnal of Dewa Ruci must be
- Written in English.
- The length of the submitted paper is at least 3000 words and no more than 7000 words. The editor will consider if the article requires more than 7000 words.
- Abstract, written in English between 150 to 250 words.
- There must be five to six keywords to identify for each article.
- There must be at least twenty references from trusted sources (primary).
- Use of a tool such as Zotero, Mendeley, or EndNote for reference management and formatting, and choose IEEE Style
- References. Expect a minimum of 30 references, primarily with a minimum of 90% to International journal papers.
- Make sure that your paper is prepared using the Journal of Dewa Ruci paper TEMPLATE.
Persyaratan standar minimum Jurnal Dewa Ruci harus
- Ditulis dalam bahasa Inggris.
- Panjang artikel yang diajukan sekurang-kurangnya 3000 kata dan tidak lebih 7000 kata. Editors akan mempertimbangkan apabila artikel memerlukan lebih dari 7000 kata.
- Abstrak, ditulis dalam bahasa Inggris antara 150 hingga 250 kata.
- Harus ada lima hingga enam kata kunci untuk identifikasi untuk setiap artikel.

Article Content Structure
Struktur Isi Artikel
Every article sent to Dewa Ruci’s Journal must follow the editorial policy. The content of the article must contain the elements of the article completely. Article elements include title, ownership line, abstract, keywords, introduction, method, discussion, conclusion, and list of references and author’s bio.
The title should reflect the object and research perspective reported in the article. The ownership line contains the authors’ names and the affiliated institution, the affiliated institution’s address, and the email address. An abstract must briefly describe the object, perspective, purpose, method, results or findings, and the article’s significance or value.
The introduction must at least contain (1) the object, perspective, and reasons for writing the article, (2) problems that arise and are interesting to reveal, (3) scientific propositions or findings, and (4) article contributions. The method must describe the types and sources of data required, how to collect the data, and there must be a chart or visualization of the flow of thought in applying the method. The presentation must present the data, analyze or interpret the data in a logical manner. The complexity of the problem must be described through a systematic division and elaborated coherently. Conclusions must answer the problems raised and show weaknesses or weaknesses of the article honestly.
Reference must use literature that is relevant to the object and perspective of the study. The literature is at least 30 titles, and 90% (ninety percent) of literature is in the form of articles published in international journals. Reference writing must be systemic using Mendeley software. Manual writing is not acceptable. The article’s format must be under the template provided and must not change or add elements that deviate from the existing template.
Setiap artikel yang dikirim ke Jurnal Dewa Ruci harus mengikuti kebijakan redaksional Jurnal Dewa Ruci. Isi artikel harus berisi unsur-unsur artikel secara lengkap. Unsur artikel meliputi judul, baris kepemilikan, abstrak, keyword, pendahuluan, metode, pembahasan, kesimpulan dan daftar referensi.
Judul harus mencerminkan objek dan perspektif penelitian yang dilaporkan dalam artikel. Baris kepemilikan berisi nama para penulis berikut lembaga afiliasi, alamat lembaga afiliasi dan alamat email. Abstrak harus menjelaskan secara singkat objek, perspektif, tujuan, metode, hasil atau temuan, dan signifikansi atau nilai artikel.
Pendahuluan sekurang-kurangnya harus berisi (1) objek, perspektif dan alasan penulisan artikel, (2) masalah yang muncul dan menarik untuk diungkap, (3) proposisi ilmiah atau temuan, dan (4) kontribusi artikel. Metode harus menjelaskan jenis dan sumber data yang diperlukan, cara pengambilan data, dan harus ada bagan atau visualisasi alur berfikir dalam menerapkan metode. Pemaparan harus menyajikan data, analisis atau interpretasi data secara logis. Kompleksitas permasalahan harus dipaparkan dengan pembagian sistematis dan dielaborasi secara runtut. Kesimpulan harus menjawab permasalahan yang diajukan dan menunjukkan kelemahan atau kekurangan dari artikel secara jujur.
Referensi harus menggunakan literatur yang relevan dengan objek dan perspektif penelitian. Jumlah literatur sekurang-kurangnya adalah 30 judul, dan 90 % (sembilan puluh persen) literatur berupa artikel yang terbit di Jurnal Internasional. Penulisan referensi harus bersistem menggunakan software Mendeley. Penulisan sacara manual tidak dapat diterima. Format artikel harus sesuai dengan template yang disediakan dan tidak boleh merubah maupun menambah elemen yang menyimpang dari template yang ada.
Submit A Manuscript
Mengirim Naskah/Artikel
Before submitting a manuscript, the author must pay attention to the following matters.
Sebelum mengajukan naskah, penulis harus memperhatikan hal-hal sebagai berikut.
- Naskah/artikel harus disiapkan dan disarankan mengikuti struktur dan format sesuai dengan TEMPLATE. Pengajuan naskah yang tidak sesuai dengan TEMPLATE tidak akan dipertimbangkan untuk diproses lebih lanjut.
- Sebelum submit penulis harus registrasi terlebih dulu via https://jurnal.isi-ska.ac.id/index.php/dewaruci/user/register
- Setelah berhasil melakukan registrasi, penulis harus login dengan mengisi username dan pasword yang telah ditetapkan sendiri oleh penulis via https://jurnal.isi-ska.ac.id/index.php/dewaruci/login
- Setelah berhasil login, penulis dapat mulai submit dan mengunggah file artikel yang telah sesuai dengan ketentuan Jurnal Dewa Ruci.
Submission Preparation
Persiapan Pengiriman Naskah
Authors are required to check the suitability of their manuscripts before submitting all of the following items. Submissions can be returned to authors who do not adhere to these guidelines.
- The manuscript has never been published before or submitted in another journal for consideration.
- File submitted in Microsoft Word document file format (doc or RTF).
- The text has a single space; use a 12-point font for the body of the script; for foreign words using italics, not underscores (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed in the text in the appropriate position.
- The text complies with the style and bibliographic requirements described in the General Requirements.
Penulis diwajibkan memeriksa kesesuaian naskahnya sebelum diajukan dengan semua item berikut. Pengiriman dapat dikembalikan kepada penulis yang tidak mematuhi panduan ini.
- Naskah belum pernah dipublikasikan sebelumnya atau submit di jurnal lain untuk dipertimbangkan .
- File pengiriman dalam format file dokumen Microsoft Word (doc atau RTF).
- Teks menggunakan spasi tunggal; font 12 poin untuk body naskah; untuk kata asing menggunakan huruf miring, bukan garis bawah (kecuali dengan alamat URL); dan semua ilustrasi, gambar, dan tabel ditempatkan di dalam teks pada posisi yang sesuai.
- Teks mematuhi persyaratan gaya dan bibliografi yang diuraikan di dalam Ketentuan Umum.

- Authors are authorized by their co-authors to enter into this arrangement.
- The submitted work has not been officially published before, except in abstract form or as part of lectures, reviews, theses, theses, or dissertations. - Submitted manuscripts are not being considered for publication elsewhere.

The author who published the manuscript in the Journal of Dewa Ruci agreed to the following requirements.
- The author owns the copyright and gives Journal of Dewa Ruci rights to the first publication which is simultaneously licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution License (CC BY-SA 4.0) which allows others to share the work with the authorship's acknowledgement of the work and initial publication in this case the journal Dewa Ruci.
- The author may make separate additional contractual arrangements for the non-exclusive distribution of published journal versions of the work (for example, posting it to an institutional repository or publishing it in a book), with acknowledgement of the original work of publication in this journal.
- Authors are permitted and encouraged to post manuscripts that published in this journal online (e.g., in institutional repositories, on websites, Academia, Researchgate, Facebook, Instagram, etc.) before and during the submission process because they can lead to productive exchanges, as well as quotes which are earlier and larger than the published work.

Open Data and Software Publishing and Sharing
Dewa Ruci strives to maximize the replicability of the research published in it. Authors are thus required to share all data, code or protocols underlying the research reported in their articles. Exceptions are permitted but have to be justified in a written public statement accompanying the article. Datasets and software should be deposited and permanently archived inappropriate, trusted, general, or domain-specific repositories (please consult http://service.re3data.org and/or software repositories such as GitHub, GitLab, Bioinformatics.org, or equivalent). The associated persistent identifiers (e.g. DOI, or others) of the dataset(s) must be included in the data or software resources section of the article. Reference(s) to datasets and software should also be included in the reference list of the article with DOIs (where available).
Jurnal Dewa Ruci berusaha untuk memaksimalkan replikasi penelitian yang diterbitkan di dalamnya. Oleh karena itu, penulis diwajibkan untuk membagikan semua data, kode, atau protokol yang mendasari penelitian yang dilaporkan dalam artikel mereka. Pengecualian diizinkan tetapi harus dibenarkan dalam pernyataan publik tertulis yang menyertai artikel tersebut. Publication Fees
Biaya Publikasi
Starting in 2020, Dewa Ruci's Journal is charged 1,000,000 IDR for each article published in the journal. The purpose of these fees is not commercial but aims to
- Meet financial sustainability in journal management.
- Provide incentives for editorial work done outside the core responsibilities of members in the Institute. The editorial tasks include the management, editing and publication processes, which are needed to improve the quality of the article.
- To support the cost of editorial and peer reviewers.
- Fees will only be withdrawn when the editorial board has approved articles for publication. The author will get a notice before the article is published online.
- If you do not have the funds to pay these fees, you still have the opportunity to waive these costs. We do not want withdrawals to prevent the publication of appropriate works.
- Suppose the author cannot prepare an article in English, as per the TEMPLATE and cannot use Mendeley or EndNote for reference management, Dewa Ruci's Journal can help find trusted people with appropriate rewards to solve the problem.
Mulai tahun 2020, Jurnal Dewa Ruci dikenakan biaya untuk setiap artikel yang diterbitkan dalam jurnal. Tujuan dari biaya ini bukan komersial tetapi bertujuan untuk:
- Memenuhi keberlanjutan finansial dalam tata kelola jurnal.
- Memberikan insentif untuk pekerjaan editorial yang dikerjakan di luar tanggung jawab inti anggota yang bertugas mengelola jurnal. Tugas-tugas editorial itu mencakup proses pengelolaan, pengeditan dan publikasi, yang diperlukan untuk memperbaiki kualitas artikel.
- Untuk mendukung biaya editorial dan peer reviewer.
- Biaya hanya akan ditarik ketika dewan editorial telah menyetujui artikel untuk publikasi. Penulis akan mendapat pemberitahuan sebelum artikel dipublikasikan secara online.

Datasets and software should be deposited and permanently archived inappropriate, trusted, general, or domain-specific repositories (please consult http://service.re3data.org and/or software repositories such as GitHub, GitLab, Bioinformatics.org, or equivalent). The associated persistent identifiers (e.g. DOI, or others) of the dataset(s) must be included in the data or software resources section of the article. Reference(s) to datasets and software should also be included in the reference list of the article with DOIs (where available). Where no domain-specific data repository exists, authors should deposit their datasets in a general repository such as ZENODO, Dryad, Dataverse, or others.
Small data may also be published as data files or packages supplementary to a research article, however, the authors should prefer in all cases a deposition in data repositories.
