Analisis Teknik Gerak Tari Tradisional dengan Menggunakan Ilmu Kinesiologi

Ilmu tari di Indonesia semakin mengalami perkembangan. Awal mula keberadaan tari begitu melekat dekat masyarakat, karena tari difungsikan sebagai media penghubung antara manusia dengan roh leluhur. Namun, perkembangan ilmu pengetahuan membuat para cendikiawan memiliki pandangan – pandangan yang berbeda tentang tari. Kehadiran pendidikan formal tari telah membuat tari dapat dipandang dari berbagai arah, yang membuat tari mampu berinterdisipliner dengan bidang ilmu lain, salah satunya sains. Perkembangan dance science dimanfaatkan oleh para ilmuwan tari dan ilmuwan medis untuk menganalisis teknik gerak tari dengan pendekatan ilmu medis. Sains yang bersifat positivistik bertolak belakang dengan seni tari tradisional Indonesia yang kental akan ‘rasa’ etnis. Hal ini menjadi salah satu penyebab ilmu kinesiologi tidak terlalu berkembang di Indonesia. Melalui artikel ini, penulis ingin menginspirasi para ilmuwan tari Indonesia, bahwa kinesiologi dapat digunakan untuk menganalisis gerak – gerak tari tradisional dengan tidak meninggalkan pelatihan ‘olah rasa’, supaya ‘rasa’ khas dari tari tersebut tetap dapat dinikmati oleh penonton.Downloads
