REINTERPRETASI SUPRIYADI PADA TARI BALADEWA DALAM PERTUNJUKAN LENGGER

AbstrakÂ
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji ide garap serta proses reinterpretasi Supriyadi pada Tari Baladewa dalam pertunjukan lengger. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pengalamannya sebagai penari maupun koreografer, kreativitas tersebut diwujudkan dalam motif gerak Tari Baladewan. Gerak-gerak tersebut terinspirasi dari Tari Baladewayang terdapat pada lenggerdandipengaruhi olehketubuhan Supriyadi pada tari gaya Yogyakarta, Surakarta, Banyumas dan Sunda. Tari Baladewan diiringi dengan gending Kulu-Kulu atau Cindung Cina yang juga merupakangendhing untuk mengiringi Tari Baladewa dalam kesenianlengger.

AbstractÂ
This study aims to examine the idea of working and reinterpretation of Supriyadi in Baladewa Dance in a lengger performance. The results of this study indicate that his experience as a dancer and choreographer, creativity is embodied in motion motion Baladewan Dance. The movements are inspired by Baladewa dance found on lengger and influenced by Supriyadi’s body in Yogyakarta style dances, Surakarta, Banyumas and Sunda. Baladewan dance is accompanied by Kulu-Kulu or Cindung gending of China which is also a gendhing to accompany Baladewa Dance in lengger arts.
