Fabric Material Infographic Illustration Design for Branding and Client Presentations at PT Kreasi Busana Indonesia

Abstract

This study aims to understand the characteristics and textures of various types of fabrics and how these properties influence client expectations and the production workflow within a garment-manufacturing (convection) environment. Commonly used materials such as rayon, rib, velvet, and soft denim exhibit different behaviors during both the initial and final stages of production, particularly in terms of shape stability, shifting tendencies, and handling requirements. Through literature review, interviews with business owners, supervisors, and cutting operators, as well as direct field observations, this research identifies key factors that affect the final garment quality. The findings indicate that a solid understanding of fabric texture and fiber structure is essential for minimizing cutting errors, increasing material efficiency, and maintaining product consistency.
