Perancangan Board Game Heart Heroes sebagai Media Edukasi Empati Anak Usia 6–10 Tahun

Perkembangan media edukasi untuk anak usia dini semakin penting seiring dengan meningkatnya tantangan sosial yang dihadapi anak-anak di sekolah maupun dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Salah satu permasalahan utama adalah rendahnya kesadaran anak dalam memahami empati dan mengenali dampak dari perilaku bullying, baik secara verbal maupun non-verbal. Oleh karena itu, perancangan ini bertujuan menciptakan media edukasi berupa board game yang berfungsi sebagai sarana bermain sekaligus belajar, dengan fokus menumbuhkan empati, keberanian moral, dan kebaikan pada anak usia 6–10 tahun. Metode yang digunakan meliputi studi literatur, wawancara dengan anak-anak dan orang tua, observasi terhadap interaksi sosial anak, serta uji coba permainan. Proses perancangan mencakup tahap pra-produksi, pengembangan konsep, desain visual, pembuatan prototipe, dan pengujian. Hasil akhir berupa board game Heart Heroes dengan empat karakter utama, yaitu Keiko, Bimo, Jerry, dan Mimi, yang mendorong anak untuk berempati melalui permainan yang menyenangkan dan bermakna
