Conflict of Interest
Dewa Ruci: Jurnal Pengkajian dan Penciptaan Seni is committed to ensuring transparency, fairness, and objectivity throughout the publication process. A conflict of interest, also known as a competing interest, arises when financial, personal, professional, or institutional relationships may influence, or be perceived to influence, the conduct, evaluation, or publication of scholarly research.
Authors
All authors must disclose any financial, personal, professional, or institutional relationships that could reasonably be perceived as influencing their research or the publication of their manuscript. Relevant disclosures may include research funding, grants, honoraria, employment, consultancy, or personal relationships with organizations or individuals related to the research. Authors must include a Conflict of Interest statement in their manuscript before the references. If a competing interest exists, authors must clearly describe its nature. If no competing interests exist, authors should include the following statement:

“The authors declare that they have no competing interests that could have influenced the research, authorship, or publication of this manuscript.”

Peer Reviewers
Peer reviewers must disclose any actual or potential competing interests when responding to a review invitation. These may include personal relationships, professional collaborations, institutional affiliations, financial interests, or other circumstances that could compromise their impartiality. Reviewers must decline the invitation if a competing interest prevents them from conducting an objective and impartial assessment. The Editor-in-Chief or an authorized editorial representative will determine whether a disclosed interest requires the reviewer to be reassigned.

Editors
Editors must disclose any competing interests related to a submitted manuscript, including personal relationships, recent or ongoing collaborations, financial interests, or institutional affiliations that could affect their editorial judgment. An editor with a relevant competing interest must not manage or make decisions on the manuscript. The manuscript will be assigned to an independent editor to ensure an impartial editorial process.

Editorial Handling and Transparency
Dewa Ruci: Jurnal Pengkajian dan Penciptaan Seni will assess disclosed competing interests on a case-by-case basis and take appropriate measures to safeguard the integrity of peer review and editorial decisions. Disclosure of a competing interest does not automatically constitute misconduct or disqualify a manuscript from consideration. Failure to disclose a relevant competing interest may result in appropriate editorial action in accordance with the journal's publication ethics policies. Such action may include requesting additional disclosures, suspending the review process, rejecting a manuscript, or issuing a correction or retraction when warranted by the circumstances.
