Author Guidelines
The Manuscripts
The manuscript should be an original research paper which sufficiently contributes novelty to the disciplines of arts, acoustics, or Karawitanologi. Authors are requested to submit their papers electronically by using the Keteg: Jurnal Pengetahuan, Pemikiran, dan Kajian tentang "Bunyi" online submission procedure. The corresponding author should also provide a statement that the manuscript is not concurrently being under consideration for publication elsewhere.
Structure of the Manuscripts
- Title: The title should be a concise phrase—rather than a full sentence—that accurately reflects the research content and engages the academic audience. It must be strictly between 8 and 12 words in length, excluding articles ('a', 'an', and 'the'). The title must be typed in 14pt Book Antiqua, bold, and centered, using capital letters at the beginning of each word.
- Author's Names and Institutions: The authors' names must be written without academic titles using 11pt Book Antiqua, bold, and centered. Write the authors' affiliations completely (10pt, Book Antiqua, center), and provide email addresses (10pt, Book Antiqua, center). For a joint paper, designate one corresponding author.
- Abstract and Keywords: The abstract should be written in English and summarize the content comprehensively, including a brief background (optional), the aim of the research, research methods, summary of findings, and conclusion. It must be strictly between 150-200 words. The abstract is typed using Book Antiqua italic, 10pt, justified alignment, with single line spacing. The keywords should consist of 3 to 5 specific words or phrases.
- Introduction: This section must provide a concise background (maximum of one paragraph), elaborate on the State of the Art (last 10 years), and present a Gap Analysis prior to stating the research objectives. The Introduction must not exceed three pages and should be typed using Book Antiqua font, size 11 pt, with a special first-line indent of 1.27 cm, and 1.15 line spacing.
- Methods: This section outlines the research design, data sources, informants, and data analysis techniques. Procedures must be written in declarative sentences or the passive voice, rather than imperative sentences. The Methods section should not exceed one page.
- Results and Discussion: This section must comprehensively cover three main elements: What/How, Why, and What Else. All data presented in Tables or Figures must be comprehensively discussed within the narrative; they should not be left merely as visual complements. The discussion section should not exceed 10 pages.
- Conclusion: The conclusion must answer the research problem or objectives and yield substantial new findings. It must be written as a single, cohesive narrative paragraph, not in the form of bullet points or numbering. Authors are not permitted to create a separate "Recommendation" sub-chapter. The conclusion section must not exceed one page.
